A life of ease….

Girl Sitting on the rock looking at the Milky Way

I've realized over the years that the life I want to live completely contradicts the kind of life that most people live in our busy Type-A workaholic culture.

I want to live a life of ease —who would have thought that’s such a radical, crazy idea?

Most people don’t believe it’s possible. So of course for them it’s not possible. No way could they slow down the pace of their lives and create a whole lot of leisure time for themselves.

But isn’t that what we all want ultimately? So why not go for it now?

It’s challenging because it means looking deeply and honestly at so many of our old beliefs, and finding ways to let those beliefs go.

Does life really have to be a struggle? No, we can affirm and create a life that unfolds in an easy and relaxed manner, a healthy and positive way.

Do I really have to work 40 or 50 hours a week to support myself? If you believe you do, then you do. But you really don’t have to work that many hours. It’s simply a matter of working smarter, not harder.

Keep affirming something like this — in the beginning was the word. Keep repeating the words that describe the life of your dreams, and see what happens:

In an easy and relaxed manner, a healthy and positive way, in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all, I am now creating the life of my dreams.

So be it. So it is!
