Dare to dream, and to remember your dream. Keep it in mind so that it becomes an aspiration. Remember the great words of James Allen in As You Think:
You will become as great as your dominant aspiration... If you cherish a vision, a lofty ideal in your heart, you will realize it.
Cherish your dream – and keep imagining how you can possibly make it happen in your life. Let your imagination roam freely – and soon plans start to emerge. Write them down on paper; written plans are very powerful, even if they're very short. Break your plan into simple steps, and take the first obvious step in front of you.
Doubt and fears arise. Difficulties, challenges, apparent obstacles arise. The bigger the dream, the larger the problems seem to be. Turn your thinking around, and ask your creative imagination, "What benefits could there possibly be in this problem? What opportunities are concealed in this apparent obstacle?"
There's nothing new in this. The Bhavagad Gita, written 5,000 years ago, puts it this way:
Even in the knocks of life we can find great gifts.
Focus on the opportunities, benefits, and gifts that you have. Keep taking one obvious step after another. Before long, your small steps will result in some great leaps forward. In time, what had been nothing but an insubstantial dream will become a reality in your life.
