Throughout my book The Magical Path, we pause and relax and sometimes take little meditative journeys. Most of them start with just three breaths. Taking three slow conscious breaths is a powerful piece of healing magic in itself. I invite you to try this:
Take a deep breath and, as you exhale, relax your body from head to toe….
Take another deep breath and, as you exhale, let all stress and tightness go….
Take a deep breath, breathe out slowly and let all thought go….
Feel suspended in space, bathing in an ocean of healing light….
Feel a warm wonderful vibrant light at the top of your head….
Feel the light move slowly downward, down through your body,
nurturing and healing every cell of your body.
This is an incredibly healing thing to do each day. How do you feel after this short, magical breathing practice?
