All your excuses, in other words, are lame; all your excuses are false. Now, if you believe in your excuses (“I can’t really succeed because I don’t have what it takes, I don’t have ______________ [fill in the blank]”), the false limiting beliefs — the excuses — become true in your experience if you believe them. That’s why our beliefs are so powerful.
But you can change your beliefs: You can affirm that you have everything you need, here and now, to create the life of your dreams. You can affirm you are powerful and creative. And you’re on your way to success. You don’t need money, friends, or influence to attain whatever your heart is set upon.
All you need to do is to keep focused on your dream, and keep taking the next obvious step in front of you that moves you toward it. And soon your dream becomes your reality.
